The Instrument rating is a qualification that extends the privileges of the Private Pilot License to allow a pilot to fly according to Instrument Flight Rules. Instrument Rating is required by all airlines prior to recruitment. It’s also one of the most useful ratings for private pilots, especially during long-distance flights.
